A Case of Thanatophoric Dwarfism

Abstract
|
|
|
Thanatophoric dwarfism was described by Maroteaux, Lamy and Robert in 1967.
It is a severe neonatal short-limbs dwarfism with characteristic X-ray features, including vertebral and pelvic abnomalities, and a narrow thorax with short cupped ribs and irregular metaphyses.
We present a case of thanatophoric dwarfism based on clinical and radiological findings with review of literatures.
